Data Deletion Policy

At Bized.app, we value your privacy and are committed to ensuring that you have full control over your personal data. In accordance with data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA) and platform requirements (such as Facebook Platform Terms), this policy outlines how you can request the deletion of your data from our systems.

1. Data Deletion Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information stored on our servers. This includes:

  • Account profile information (name, email, profile pictures)
  • Connected social accounts and authentication tokens
  • Business profiles, menus, and product listings
  • Order history and transaction records (subject to legal retention requirements)

2. How to Request Deletion

You may delete your account and associated data directly through the application or by contacting support.

Option A: Self-Deletion via App Settings

  1. Log in to your Bized.app dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Account.
  3. Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section.
  4. Click Delete Account and confirm your choice.

Note: This action is immediate and irreversible. Your public profiles will be taken offline instantly.

Option B: Manual Request

If you are unable to access your account, you may submit a request to our data protection team:

  • Email: privacy@bized.app
  • Subject: Data Deletion Request - [Your Email/Username]

We will process verified requests within 30 days.

3. Data Retention

Some data may be retained for a limited period after deletion request for the following purposes:

  • Legal Obligations: Tax records, invoice history, and financial transaction logs as required by law.
  • Security: Logs associated with security incidents or fraud prevention.

Once the retention period expires, this data is permanently erased.

4. Third-Party Data

If you have connected third-party platforms (like Facebook, Google, or Instagram), deleting your Bized account removes our access tokens to those platforms. However, Bized does not control data stored directly on those third-party services. You may need to manage your data settings on those platforms independently.
